Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York. After troublesome formative years, Trump attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1968 with a degree in economics.
Trump’s professional career began when he joined his father’s real estate business. From an early age, the young real estate and business tycoon was heavily influenced by his father, of whom he once said, “My father was my mentor, and I learned a tremendous amount about every aspect of the construction industry from him.”
After a stint at his father’s firm, Trump moved to Manhattan and began acquiring a range of exclusive and high-profile properties. The Trump Casino, Trump International Hotel, Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort and Trump Tower are among several of his most acclaimed estates.
After establishing himself as a real estate magnate, as well as dating or marrying a number of supermodels such as Ivana Zelnicek, Marla Maples and Melania Knauss, Trump entered the world of entertainment.
Building off his extravagant and hyper-confident personality, Trump starred in the hit television show “The Apprentice” in 2004.
